what does it all mean?
It’s been over a month and I’m still pretty wax-exstatic about watching/finding Mulholland Drive. This website is a pretty good go-to for all things Mulholland Drive and helped me sort through some of the thoughts and questions I was having.
I wish I could keep rediscovering this movie. Over and over. For the first time!

Having just started my obsession with Mulholland Drive last week, I have recently come to realize my favorite scene. It actually stems further back from when Betty and Rita play detective and visit Diane’s apartment. However, the entire Club Silencio part is really where my focus is. In this clip, Betty and Rita wake up after a very passionate love-fest and go over to Club Silencio at 2am. It’s a beautiful breakdown of their relationship. Music, acting, lighting, story….all fantastic variables here for me.
I realize this film has a lot of love hate. I’m glad to be on the love side of things.
